Employment Creation – Each Golden Visa investment enables the creation of five new full-time positions within Regeneration Villages S.A., supporting the planned growth of the operational team ahead of the opening of Vale das Lobas and the delivery of its hospitality, wellbeing, and ecological services.

  4. Clean Criminal Record – Provide official certification from both your country of residence and from Portugal.

  5. Proof of Legal Funds – Demonstrate that investment funds originate from legitimate and verifiable sources.

  6. Residency Requirement – Maintain an average physical presence in Portugal of at least seven days per yearduring each two-year residency period.

Successful applicants and their immediate family members gain Portuguese residency, visa-free travel within the Schengen Area, and the option to apply for Permanent Residency or Citizenship after five years.

APPLICATION PROCESS

CITIZENSHIP & RESIDENCY STATUS

Under current Portuguese legislation, Golden Visa investors may apply for Portuguese citizenship after five years of maintaining their investment and residency status.

However, forthcoming updates to the Nationality Law are expected to extend the citizenship eligibility period to ten years, in line with evolving standards across Europe. Even after these changes, it will remain possible to apply for Permanent Residency after five years, providing long-term security and the right to live, work, and travel freely within Portugal and the Schengen Area.

EXIT FROM INVESTMENT

Investors in Regeneration Villages S.A. may exit their participation from Year 5 onwards, in accordance with the company’s shareholder agreement and Portuguese corporate law.

Under the Golden Visa Residency Program, investors are required to maintain their investment for the full duration of their residency status. Once an investor converts to permanent residency or Portuguese citizenship, they may, if they wish, redeem or transfer their shares.

The preferred exit pathway is the sale or transfer of shares to incoming investors, subject to board approval and pre-emption rights. The company may also redeem shares directly, at the original investment value, ensuring stability and preventing speculative activity.
