A Regeneration Village has, as its starting point, a traditional ancestral village, such as Sobral Pichorro, where there is already an existing community, a deep ancestral memory, and the knowledge and wisdom that comes from generations of working with the land. With this as the foundation, an investment can be made, through close and careful collaboration, to establish economic activities, based on regenerative practices, in agriculture, health and well-being, activity and adventure, education, and hospitality. These activities will attract visitors, and this in turn will revitalise the community, creating employment and social and cultural benefits.

Respite | Regeneration | Renewal

Vale das Lobas will provide an environment for families to live and work together, enhancing and augmenting the existing community. At the core is a Nature Retreat. This is a multi-layered business model, that will offer visitors a range of experiences, including Healing Retreats, Gatherings and Adventures, for guests of all ages, for respite, regeneration and renewal. 

Once it is open, it will have various accommodation options, including:

• A 17th century manor house, restored and repurposed as a Nature Spa, with 23 bedrooms, medicine gardens and restaurant (70% completed).
• Self-catering accomodation, for families and groups, in the Eco- Village (construction due to begin in 2025)
• A beautiful glamping park, with Hobbit Houses and luxury camping options (80% completed, opening later in 2025)
• An exquisite farm-to-table restaurant (95% completed, opening later this year)

Investment Opportunities

There are three different ways to be involved in Vale das Lobas, depending on your situation. The first way is to join our growing circle of investors, and become a member of the ownership group. To do this you would hold a share in Sacred Earth, Lda, which is a company formed for this purpose. If you are a non-European, and you would like to gain a residence permit in Portugal, then the Golden Visa Investment Program may be for you.
